Product Care & Information
All of our “fresh” flower gifts are packed with a minimal use of cellophane and sphagnum moss in order to keep stems hydrated during transit, along with care cards and flower food where relevant. Cellophane can be recycled, and sphagnum moss can be used in your garden or added to your compost heap.
We recommend that all “fresh” flowers (excluding those in flower boxes) be removed from the packaging as soon as is possible and placed into fresh water as per the care card instruction provided in order to hydrate/ feed them and provide the best vase life.
“Fresh” flower boxes are made using floral foam so flowers are provided with a source of hydration and can be enjoyed in the way that they are presented and received with no additional care required. Due to the environmental impact of traditional floral foam we work to keep our usage of it to a minimum and use “bio foam” in its place where possible.
“Fresh” flowers are best kept in a cool environment.
